Picnic

Jakob and Isaaks school had a picnic for lunch so all the parents could come and sit with them out on their playground. It was a lot of fun and the weather was perfect. Isaak came out first and we got to spend about 40 minutes together, and as soon as Jakob got out Isaak had to go back in. It was a fun afternoon to spend with the boys and Colin and Nattie got to play on their playground. Colin was a ladies man out there. He had four 5th grade girls following him around! I wish I had my real camera ready, I just grabbed my cell phone so that picture is a little blurry. They followed that boy everywhere. It was pretty cute.

Jakobs Pinewood Derby

Jakob had his first pinewood derby last weekend. He made an Army racecar. He had a lot of fun with it. I think he said he got 7th place. I did have pictures of him and his actual car but somehow they got deleted. But here are some pictures I do still have of the flag raising ceremony and his car racing down the track.

1-2-3 JUMP!

I took the kids to the park today for another photoshoot, but the babies were not being cooperative at all. So the older kids and I decided to just take some fun pictures. Here is what we came up with.

I did take some of Kaitlyn today too, since I never really have gotten a chance to photograph her since she is hardly ever here. I got some really cool ones, So go check out my photography blog they are on there. The link is over there on the side.

Driving lessons and football

Colin has been eyeballing one of those powerwheels at Walmart everytime we go there. He and Natalie freak out when they see them, and want out of the cart so they can play on the one sitting out on display. We thought we'd surprise them on one of the trips there and actually get one. He could barely handle himself as we loaded it up, it was so cute. He was so happy! It was a good buy too, They are out in the backyard for HOURS on that thing just riding around. Completely entertained. That is good. So we took them over to the park to play and let them ride around in a bigger area. Dave taught Colin how to go, there is a slow speed, a high speed, and reverse. He got the hang of that real quick. Natalie cracks up laughing when he goes fast. She always yells to him,"GO!GO!" I took some pictures of course. The boys (Jake and Isaak) played football while we were there too.

Here are some of the boys playing football.

Outtakes!

A lot of people ask how I get my kids to let me take pictures of them without them complaining...huh, trust me, they do complain, and they try to make it as difficult as possible! Having four very animated kids is tough work to get them to hold still and most of all to just be serious. I thought I'd post some of my RAW photos unedited and all of them that I have during our photography sessions. I am the crazy yelling mom on the side of the road taking pictures of her lunatic children! I wonder what people think, I really do! Jakob is the only one who takes this serious but I think he is afraid of me and my camera!

Here is Natalie, My number one ham of the group. (She has the most outtakes anyhow)

Smile NICE sis...

Hey! Im over here! I dont want to take a picture of your rump!

Isaak not helping the cause at all...

And my dear Colin..I think I told him to put this orange down about 100 times.

Isaak got this one in the head!

So then we came home and Natalie was wearing her "fabulous fur wrap" and I thought I'd take a few snaps of her. This is the clearest picture out of all the fur wrap pictures I took of her and her darn tongue! Cute though...

Here are some from previous photoshoots..

Yup..this is my kid.

Colin knowing he is so cute.

Her scream is bigger than her mouth!

Supermodel poser!

There you have it! Sometimes I am sure they belong in the circus! I will be posting the good ones of our last adventure on my photography website real soon.
