Family Outing

Today after Dave got off of work we decided to load the kids up and go to Bass Pro Shop. (Daves new favorite place) He got a jacket for work and a hat, and I followed, well..chased is a better word the kids around to look at the fish and the animals. I felt like a bunch of tourists taking pictures and all, but it was fun.

Then, after that, we went to Oregano's and had dinner. It was a good 45 minute wait, but it was so delicious! Of course I had my camera in my purse, so I was taking pictures of the kids while we were waiting to pass the time.

Then we were trying to make it look like Kaitlyns hair was on fire. Yes, the boredness was setting in!

Christmas

We had a very nice Christmas. We have a lot of family to visit with. Christmas Eve we spent with my moms family at my grandmas house, then after that we went over to Daves moms to let the boys open their gifts there since they were going to be with their dad the next day. Christmas Day the kids opened their presents in the morning, I dropped the boys off with their dad while we went over to Daves brothers house, and then after that we went to my dads house (where I got the boys back) to spend the rest of the evening. It is usually a really busy time of the year! The kids had a lot of fun and my living room is filled with new toys. I just wanted to say thank you to all my family who went out of their way this year for us and our kids. You are all wonderful, and I love you all. I thought I would post some pictures of Christmas with the kids. I didnt take my camera everywhere we went, so I just have pics of Christmas morning. :/

Here is Christmas morning. Santa couldnt fit all the stuff into their stockings, so he had to borrow some gift bags.

Here are the babies and I waiting patiently to open presents.

Natalie was so very tired. After she opened all her presents, I found her in the front living room laying on the floor with her blanket falling back to sleep. Poor thing! She is a mommas girl! Very sleepy in the morning!

The rest are just of the kids opening their presents...

Yup. He got the bb gun. Isaak better watch them eyeballs!

We have an announcement to make!

We have a new family member! No, I am not pregnant. This is a hairy kid! Dave and the boys have been begging me like crazy for a dog. As most of you know, I am NOT an animal lover at all. If there was a hairless dog that doesnt go to the bathroom and has no teeth, that is my kinda dog! Buuuut, whattaya do when I find picket signs in my pantry, to my bathroom mirrors to in my bed saying "WE WANT A DOG!" With hilarious pictures of scraggly dogs. For crying out loud. I gave in!
So here she is...Bailey Barnabus Rule. She is a German short-haired pointer. Okay, so she is kinda cute. I might like her..we'll see. Sheis already kellel trained, and house broken. She loves the kids. She hugs with her front two legs, and she plays football with Jakob and can actually tackle too. Here are a couple pictures.

The Boys' Christmas List

As your kids get older you will find that it is harder to shop for them during Christmas time. The toy they got last year is "babyish" this year...and so on. So last night Dave got out a pen and paper to write down what exactly the boys wanted for Christmas. I wish I was there during their dialog, but Dave came in and told me about it, I about died laughing.
So Jakob first...he said he wanted a trampoline for our new backyard. Also a CD player and some cd's since he loves listening to music. Then maybe a bb gun. (I dont think so! The first thing he'd do with that is shoot Isaaks eyes out!) Oh and maybe a new bike, or even one of those gopeds, oh yeah, and a quad too. All I know is that they get more expensive the older they get! Then moving on to Isaak...He wants a trampoline too, a playstation 3, (uh huh...what did I tell ya!) Some more gameboy games, and his two front teeth. Yes, he actually said that. Jakob braggingly says, "Well! I already have MY two front teeth!" Isaak turns to Dave and says, "His teeth are HUGE! I would like some that fit. Some...I dont know...KID size ones!" Jakob just stood there with his mouth wide open, Dave busted up laughing, and the Christmas list was complete. Arent they funny? Those two are always at eachothers throats, little do they know that they will be best friends for the rest of their lives. Don't want to break that news to them now!

Another One

Here is the one I made for Dave. I had to do some editing on it, and still need to, but here this one is. Keep in mind that I did make these over a year ago, so some of the pictures are out dated.
