"So You Come To Me For A Favor..."

Isaak had a project at school called "wax museum". They were given an actor from the golden era to make a tri-fold about and they had to dress up and give a presentation acting like the actor as well for extra points. If you know Isaak, he is an awesome actor. He was given Marlon Brando. He nailed it perfectly! It was so fun to help him with this project and die laughing at his impersonation. When I sent these pictures to Grandpa Pittam he wrote back that it was pretty impressive..I showed Isaak the message from Grandpa and you know what he said to me?! "I couldn't be impressive without your help mom!" I melted right there. What a great kid I have, I do love helping him and it just makes me feel good that he recognizes that.
Did you know that Marlon Brando's son was Michael Jackson's long time bodyguard? Marlon was Jackson's good friend spending a lot of time with him at his Ranch up until the day Marlon died. He also had 15 children, 3 wives and a long time girlfriend Marilyn Monroe! I learned a lot with Isaak as well about him. Pretty interesting life he had. =
Here is Isaak giving his presentation. He did a great job, and all the kids seemed to really like it.

Natalie- Kindergarten Grad!

It seems this year of school went by in a flash. I remember so clearly Jakob going to kindergarten, and am shocked how fast time flies. I know in a blink of an eye Natalie will be in 8th grade too. Holy Moly! Natalie surprised me when she brought home her graduation pictures. I must have missed that flyer otherwise her hair would have been done better! They still turned out sweet, and I literally busted out in tears when she handed them to me. she looked at me like I was an alien, but someday she will too send her last "baby" off to school.
Natalie has grown so much this school year. She started off not reading at all. This is her the other day reading me a book. She has an amazing teacher who was Colin's teacher as well last year. She works magic. She has been really sick this year too needing a kidney transplant as she has a severe case diabetes. I have never come across a teacher with as much heart as she has. I will be forever grateful!
Natalie has shown that she is incredibly smart! Isaak may have some competition here! If you couldnt tell, I am so crazy about this little girl! She will be forever spoiled rotten by me and all the boys in her life.

Grandma Sam Comes to Visit!

My mom moved away to Washington this past year. She came back to visit during spring break. We had a lot of fun. We went with our family to The Monastery in Mesa. This is an awesome place we love to go to a lot when our family gets together. The weather was perfect, and we had so much fun! Grandma Sam and my kids.
Dave and Jake and Isaak chowing down.
Jake may have a wet ear!
How many peanuts can Jake fit in his mouth? 47 actually.

Did you know Isaak is a master at dancing? He doesn't care who is watching, he has the moves!
WE MISS YOU GRANDMA SAM!

A Monkey Inappropriately Named...

So Natalie has this sock monkey that is her absolute FAVORITE thing she has. She takes him everywhere.. What did she lovingly name this monkey? DIABETES! In public people look at us funny when she tells me Diabetes is her best friend. *rolling my eyes* I am worried what she is going to name her children!

Vent Ahead!

Ever have one of those days where you wanna run down the street screaming? This week for me has been one of the toughest I've had to endure in awhile! On top of being incredibly busy with trying to find Dave a job, kids' school stuff, football practices, fundraising, church stuff, by the way I have to give in talk in sacrament this sunday too..my kids have played on my heightened stress level and have been atrocious to say the least. Well, I should give credit to Jakob, who has remained calm this week, and has been trying his best to help..and Isaak who cant help it is going through some changes in result, he is atypically moody! One minute he is angry the next he is crying and sobbing, and then the next he is ferociously happy. It's kinda fun to watch the changes, but I can do without the mood swing whiplash! Next we have Princess Natalie refuses to sleep in her bed, and goes through the same routine every single blessed night. AS SOON as I mention that it is time for bed she says "but..I'm hungry!" Mind you, we JUST ate dinner an hour or two before. Then, its "I want to play my DS!" Sometimes I do let her lay in bed and play her DS for 10 or 15 minutes since she has afternoon kindergarten and she doesn't have to get up early for school. Then its "I cant go to sleep because I am scared!" So I make sure her night light is on, closet doors closed..etc etc..I go get in bed and not two minutes later I hear little feet shuffle into my room. Sigh..."I'm still scared mom." At this point I am exhausted, and sometimes let her sleep in my room on the floor with all her blankets, just because I am tired and I have no fight left in me to drag her back in her room. I think I am developing bad habits. But whattaya do?
Colin...hehehe..I can FEEL the gray hairs sprouting from my scalp. What he did the other day was pretty much the most appalling..disgusting..rude thing he has ever done. When I asked him WHY he did it, what do you think he said? "I DON'T KNOW" I really despise that answer. When I am done seeing RED, I may find some humor in it..but right now I am still a little ticked off, so we will let that story rest until later. All I can say is..That this reminds me of him..or at least what is going to become of him if I don't lay the law down right this instant! So, the little punk is grounded for a week. He loves to play outside with his friends across the street so this really is a good punishment for him. Besides the initial freak out the day of this incident... which reminded me of this: I calmly told Dave he can't choke out Colin in front of the neighbors! Joking of course..he wouldn't really choke him out, but I can tell this image was going though his mind! So this week has left me curled up in a ball sucking my thumb..so I reeeally hope next week is not another week of pure pandemonium!

Home Sweet Home

We moved into a new house at the beginning of this year! We have been looking for a house in this neighborhood for quite some time. This is close by the kids' school, and Jake and Isaak can walk to their bus stop to ride the bus to their schools. We have great neighbors, and lots of friends close by! We love it, and it is a perfect fit for us! Dave and I have been spending our time making our house a home.

Rest In Peace Perry

Perry a.k.a Agent P born July 24, 2011 died December 12, 2011.

We are very sad, and with heavy hearts had to put our puppy down last week. He suffered for about a week having Parvovirus. We did multiple treatments on him at the vet hoping he would pull through, but things got worse and worse he ended up with pneumonia as well, and his lungs were failing. This is something that I never want to go through again. We will miss him. He was like a kid to us, with a huge personality. I hope he is up there in doggy heaven running through a field of flowers and laying in the sun. Rest in peace Perry!
