A Day at the Zoo

Today my mom, my brother Tony, and his son Matthew, and my step-daughter Kaitlyn, and Colin and Natalie all went to the zoo for a day of excitement and adventure. It was a lot of fun, and I cant say it enough, I am so very happy it is springtime! The weather was perfect! We all had a lot of fun, all the kids were happy and loved seeing the animals. Colins favorite was the orangutans. He said "They're stinky mom..like yaya." (He calls natalie "yaya")Isn't he sweet.



Colin then found the tractors, and that is where we spent a lot of our time, because he wouldnt get off them.



We went into the petting zoo to pet the goats. Natalie kept chasing them around saying "Here puppy!"



One goat was particularly fond of Tony. He kept next to him sniffing him. Tony was thrilled.

Colin wanted to drive this broken down car so bad. He kept asking to go back to it.

This is one I took of Matthew at the end of the day. I did a little photoshop fixin to this one to make it cuter. eehh..it is kinda over done. Thats okay. He's a cute kid.

Mommy's Boy?

We always play around with Colin and Natalie, and ask them whose girl/boy are you?..and they answer depending on their mood, "Mommy's Boy/Girl!" or "Daddy's Boy/Girl!" Lately Natalie has been answering "Mommy's Boy!" We always say "Hey! You are a girl! so that means you are a Mommy's girl!" She argues back she is a boy like Colin. Oh dear. We have created mass confusion! So today at my shopping trip to Ross, I found this shirt that says "Mommy's Girl" in big sparkley letters. I just had to get it to set record straight! I told her what it said, and she looked at me with this awful face and said "I mommy boy?" I told her NO! You are a GIRL! I waited so very long for a girl of my own for her to be calling herself a boy! AHH! I took some pictures of her in her new shirt. She is a hoot.

I am going private

I have been getting a lot of those comments that have viruses in them lately, in fact twice in 2 days. It will say from Ivan or Jon or someone else and the comment will say Look Here with the "here" hyperlinked. Trash it right away!

Everyone is always saying how the babies look just like me, but after seeing the comparison with these pictures, I am thinking they both kinda look more like Dave!

Happy Birthday Jakob!

Jakob celebrated his 9th birthday (oh..I'm old!) on the 8th of this month. He got to choose a friend to take with us to anywhere he wanted to go, so he chose to go to Chuck E. Cheeses for the night of pizza and games.

Dave's Building

I know I wrote a few months ago about Dave's work and included a somewhat old picture, but this morning, he took my new camera to work and took another picture of it. It is finished as far as the concrete goes, so now they are just repairing and finishing up some stuff. I thought he did a great job with taking the picture. If you click on the above picture it makes it bigger and shows greater detail. WOW!

Spoiled

Just a little! I am the new proud owner of a Canon Rebel XT EOS 350D!(Thats a camera!) YEAH! Pictures of my own are soon to come. I am looking into doing professional pictures on the side, so once I get all those details together, I will post with info and samples.
