I have been seriously SICK of my camera lately, and havent touched it unless I absolutely had to! I don't know what has come over me...maybe it's because my laptop with my photo editing software is currently out of commission, meaning it is shut off, and packed up. Me being lazy lately, (haha) doesnt really feel like dragging it out and turning it on! Oh the ridiculousness. So in other words, I have no interesting pictures of my new house, and all the work I have done in here. I will get to it eventually, but right now, I don't want to deal with what comes with taking these pictures on my huge camera. Blahhh.
Anyhoo- I did manage to pretty much re-paint my entire inside of this house. I didnt change the colors, because what it came with was already pretty, it was just beat up, and some genious decided to paint it with a flat based paint, and as you pretty much all know, having kids who have to touch everything, flat paint just doesn't stay clean, nor can you wipe it clean. So that was a treat, climbing up and down a ladder all day... I woke up this morning and about fell down the stairs after I realized my calves were beyond sore, and not working! But, knowing that it is now freshly painted, and DONE...I like it, and now feel better about hanging our decorations up.
I happen to LOVE Queen Creek. The best part is that I have put only 3 miles on my car during the first two weeks of being here. I dont want to leave my house! How wierd is that? I love it, and love fixing it up. I love the fresh(er) air here, and how quiet it is. And really, I have a grocery store just a mile or 2 away, and 2 walmarts, walgreens...gas stations, food places...pretty much everything I had living in Mesa within reasonable driving distance here, minus all the ruckus.
What else...oh, the boys started school today at their new school. I am happy to say that they LOVED it. I am so thankful for that.
I really will bust out the camera soon, I have to get my nephews blessing pictures off of it, so eventually I will give in, and take some pictures of the house, and stuff...oh, and Dave managed to score a great deal on a set of fancy schmancy 20" wheels for his truck. Never really cared about riding in style, but hey, whatever makes the guy smile! Hahaha...I am sure he will takes some pictures of those too that I will post later.
Hope the new year is treating you all well.
